Slow keyboard control
Deliberate Key Presses
Press the large key shown on screen, hold it gently for a moment, then release it. The exercise responds to the key itself, so there is no separate Space-bar confirmation.
Why this exists
Slow, deliberate key presses can help someone concentrate on finding one key, pressing it under control and releasing it cleanly. This version replaces the previous finger-lift instructions, which could give mixed messages between the written prompt and the keyboard diagram.
What this lets you practise: controlled press-and-release movement, finding a small group of familiar keys and noticing the difference between pressing, holding and releasing.
Press, hold briefly, then release
Press this key
Ready when you are.
Find the shown key, press it gently, hold it for a moment, then let go.
There is no speed score. Take time to settle your hand before each press.
