Movement and direction
Gentle Maze
Guide the mouse along the paths to its home.
Physical keyboard needed
Why I made this
Movement keys are usually practised inside games that also demand speed, aiming and quick decisions. I wanted a quieter way to use the same directional movements while concentrating on one route at a time.
What this lets you practise: repeated directional movement, changing direction and planning a short route. Choose WASD, IJKL or arrow keys, and pause whenever you need to find the next key.
Device note: Gentle Maze needs a physical keyboard. On a phone or tablet without one, try Target Tap.
Privacy: Your movement-key choice and woodland discoveries are saved only in this browser. If browser storage is unavailable, the maze still works without saving them.
Choose whichever key layout feels most comfortable for the hand, hands or keyboard position you want to use.
Woodland walk
Every tan tile is walkable. The woodland clears around the mouse, and reaching home automatically prepares another walk.
The mouse is waiting. Move gently when you are ready.
The mouse is always safe. If a direction reaches green forest rather than a tan path, choose another key.
