Why I made this
Typing practice can become repetitive, while fast typing games can become frustrating before the keyboard feels familiar again. Letter Drift keeps the playful feeling of a space game while allowing the speed and movement to remain gentle.
What this lets you practise: finding letters, staying with one clearly marked word and typing under light visual pressure. Choose a slower speed or reduced motion whenever that makes the activity easier to use.
Use whichever hand, both hands, or keyboard position feels comfortable. The WASD-area set describes where the keys are, not which hand to use.
How to play
Lock onType the first letter of a visible word. Starting letters are kept distinct where possible.
Stay with itThe dashed target frame remains around the selected word until it is cleared.
See each hitA projectile travels from the ship to each correct letter, followed by a gentle impact.
Take controlPress Escape or use Pause whenever you need a break.
